About Me

Scott Keeler, a native of Basking Ridge, N.J., has worked as a staff photographer at the St. Petersburg Times since 1986. Before that, he worked as a staff photographer at the Tampa Tribune, the Morristown (N.J.) Daily Record, and the Daily Journal of Elizabeth, N.J. Keeler graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in photojournalism. He was president of the New Jersey Press Photographers Association in 1986. He lives with his wife Janet Keeler, the lifestyles editor of the St. Petersburg Times in St. Petersburg, Florida.
